We were first-time homebuyers and went through 5 other agents before landing on Max - our Redfin agent literally never met with us and would send associates to tour in his stead for multiple properties while failing to uncover underlying issues with a property that prevented our close just a week before. Other agents would simply forget to schedule tours, be super bad at communication, or have questionable investment property guidance.
